We are Liza's Place, a small team of Toowoomba-based trauma-informed psychologists who specialise in working with children, adolescents and their families to improve a young person's mental health, development and overall well-being.
Our goal is to provide you with a safe and welcoming space where you can explore, grow and heal. We assess, diagnose and treat a range of mental health and developmental needs.

Psychological Support
for Children, Youth and Young Adults
We pride ourselves on being trauma-informed, neuroaffirming and totally focused on you and your journey. Our space is a safe space to feel heard, understood and connected. No healing occurs without a sense of safety.
Our team are validating, playful and here for you. We also want to support those around you, such as parents, carers and educators, to help support change. Remember it takes a village to raise a child. ​​

We understand that visiting a therapy space can be overwhelming and sometimes scary. Why not try one of our free "drop in" options to have a look around and meet us? ​​​
It is important to us to make our space warm and inviting, because our space is about you. We want you to feel as comfortable and "at home" as possible. Our staff will be more than happy to offer you a tea, hot chocolate, coffee or biscuits on arrival.
Our clinicians see clients under Medicare, NDIS, Private Health Insurance as well as specialist supports such as Victims of Crime. We have a range of referral and funding options.

Our office is easily accessible by bus and we have discreet parking. We are also walking distance from the Hooper Centre and Queens Park.
We are located on the first floor with stair access. Please contact us in advance if you need accessibility assistance.
