Liza Deadman
Liza is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in supporting children, adolescents, and their families through mental health challenges. Liza has established a strong reputation for providing high quality assessments and tailored treatment programs designed to effectively address mental health, emotional, and behavioral issues. Through her compassionate approach Liza empowers her clients to develop the essential skills needed for resilience and growth.
Liza brings over a decade of experience in Toowoomba's mental health landscape, having worked across public, private, and community services which has equipped her with valuable expertise in engaging children, young people, and their families.
Liza offers a range of mental health and behavioural supports including individual and dyadic psychotherapy, attachment-based therapies, including Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and Theraplay-based interventions, as well as evidence-based targeted emotional and mental health interventions.
As a Clinical Psychologist, Liza is able to provide clinical psychology rebates under Medicare and is a Private Health Fund and NDIS provider. Liza also offers professional supervision for clinical psychology registration requirements as well as professional placements for provisional psychologists.

Josie Hazard
Josie is a Generally Registered Psychologist who is passionate about supporting children and adolescents to flourish, build on their strengths, and thrive.
Drawing on experience across public mental health and community services, Josie has supported children, adolescents, and families experiencing a broad range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges.
Her practice draws on contemporary, evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Josie tailors therapy to each young person's unique strengths, developmental needs, and goals, helping them build practical skills, build resilience, and confidence.
With a background as a yoga teacher, Josie brings a holistic perspective to her work, recognising the connection between mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Josie has a particular interest in working with adolescents as they navigate identity, relationships, emotional regulation, and the transition into adulthood.

Drawing on her interest in trauma-informed practice, Lydia enjoys incorporating attachment-based approaches and play therapy into her work, helping young people feel safe, understood, and empowered. She is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships and supporting families through collaborative, evidence-based care.

Maya is a provisional psychologist currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at USQ. She’s passionate about creating a warm, friendly space where children and teens feel safe, heard, and supported.
Maya loves helping young people better understand themselves, build confidence, manage big feelings, and navigate life’s ups and downs.
Maya also has a special interest in sleep and how it impacts wellbeing.

With experience supporting children and young people aged 5 to 25 in a counselling capacity, Chloe is passionate about helping young people navigate life's challenges and build resilience.
Chloe values a compassionate, strengths-based approach, working collaboratively with young people to help them develop confidence, insight, and coping strategies.

Heléna Erlandson
Heléna is a General Psychologist who is offering our upcoming Art from the Heart group. Heléna has moved away from her face-to-face clinical role for a period of time.
Heléna has a strong interest in working with children, adolescents, parents, and young adults, and has experience spanning the past 4 years under the supervision of various highly respected Psychologists in the Toowoomba region.
Heléna is a kind, warm, and passionate person who brings these qualities into all aspects of her work. With a focus on CBT-based therapies, Heléna tailors her services to suit the individual before her and works collaboratively with clients to ensure therapy is both evidence-based and person-centred.
While her work is based in CBT, Heléna incorporates elements of attachment-based therapies, and premises from therapies such as DBT and ACT into her work.

Darcy Goodall
Darcy brings over 25 years of experience in the education sector, both in Australia and overseas, having held a range of roles supporting young people with diverse needs, including as an Advisory Visiting Teacher and most recently as a Program Leader in the secondary school setting.
Now in the final phase of his psychology training, Darcy is completing his external practicum as part of his postgraduate studies, with graduation expected at the end of 2025.
Darcy works with a broad range of clients, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults. He is passionate about supporting young people’s emotional well-being and draws on his extensive background in education and disability support to inform his therapeutic work.

Anita is a proud Toowoomba local with over 20 years of experience in administration and management roles within the health industry.
She brings a warm, caring, and cheerful approach to everything she does, especially when it comes to supporting the wellbeing of clients.
Anita is excited to welcome you at reception and make your experience a positive one.
Outside of work, she loves spending time in the kitchen, crafting, writing, photography and relaxing with her much-loved dogs, Luna and Spartan.
